Single Row Angular Contact Ball Bearing
Characteristics: Single row angular contact ball bearing is an inseparable bearing, including: solid inner ring and outer ring, ball and retainer components, and the retainer component is made of nylon, punching steel plate or brass. The rollaway nest of inner ring and outer ring deviate from each other along the axial direction of bearing. The bearing is designed to open bearing and sealed bearing with limited angle regulatory function.
ZEITLOS: Many types of angular contact ball bearings are of ZEITLOS series of products. Relevant information of these bearings is in the related size specification sheet. ZEITLOS series of bearing shave improved geometrical shape of rollaway nest and optimized the surface. All these obviously increase the fatigue limit load of bearings. When the modified rated service life of bearings is calculated, the value is higher by 50%. In some applications, all these mean that more compact, smaller and smarter arrangement forms of bearing can be designed.
Radial and axial bearing capacity: Single row angular contact ball bearing can bear one-way axial force and big radial force. It must be adjusted at axial direction relative to another bearing of adjacent radial installation. Radial bearing capacity depends on contact angle, i.e., the bigger the contact angle is, the heavier axial load bore by bearing is. Due to 40°contact angle, angular contact ball bearing can bear large axial load.
All-purpose combinational design: Single row angular contact ball bearing of all-purpose combinational design possesses suffix of UA, UL or UO, which can be used in X-type arrangement, O-type arrangement, tandem arrangement or in group. These bearings can meet the requirements of any installation arrangement form. For outer ring surface of tandem arrangement, ensure that there are enough explanations in the chapter to support bearing arrangement design. Suffix UA represents small axial clearance bearing pack and suffix UL represents light preload bearing pack; suffix YO represents X-type and O-type arranged zero clearance bearing pack. During the order of bearings, the total amount of bearings must be clarified rather than only the amount of ordered bearing pairs or bearing packs.
Paired bearing: O-type arrangement (with the suffix of DB), X-type arrangement (with the suffix of DF) or tandem arrangement (with the suffix of DT) bearing packs without space rings can be provided. During the bearing order, note the amount of bearing pack instead of that of single bearing. Sealing suffix 2RS represents the bearing is equipped with lip sealing at both sides. RS contact sealing is used for preventing invasion of dust, pollutants and moisture.
Sealing: Sealed bearing shall be lubricated by lubricating grease with high quality because the lubricating grease can meet the lubricating requirements during operating service life period of bearing.
Lubrication: Bearings without being sealed or only one side is sealed is not equipped with lubricating grease at first. They can be lubricated by non-grease lubricant or oil.
Operating temperature: The operating temperature of open angular contact ball bearing shall be between -30°C and +150°C. A bearing whose outer diameter D is greater than 240mm can maintain dimensional stability under the high temperature of +200°C. Limited by materials of retainer, the highest operating temperature of angular contact ball bearing adopting glass fiber reinforced nylon retainer is +120°C. Limited by lubricating agent and sealing materials, the operating temperature suitable for sealed bearing is from -30°C to +110°C.
Retainer: The suffix of angular contact ball bearing which adopts glass fiber reinforced nylon retainer is TVP or TVH. The suffix of bearing with brass solid retainer is MP and we also provide general bearings with punching steel plate window type retainer (with the suffix of JP). Check chemical stability of nylon on synthetic grease and lubricating agent with extreme pressure additive. Under high temperature, aged lubricating oil and additive in the oil will reduce operating life of nylon retainer. Therefore, it must strictly follow the replacement cycle of lubricating oil.

1) Other forms of retainers can be supplied upon negotiation. The high temperature and high speed applicability and basic rated load of these bearings with specially designed retainer may be different from that of bearings with standard retainer.
