Tapered Roller Bearing


Characteristics: Tapered roller bearing is composed of solid inner ring with conical rollaway nest, outer ring and tapered roller component with window type retainer. The form of bearing includes:

█ Paired open variant design

█ Sealed overall design at one side, JK0S.


Open bearing is a separable bearing; therefore, the inner ring and outer ring with roller retainer components can be installed respectively. Metric and inch bearings are provided. The bearing with letter K belongs to inch bearing. In new design, please give priority to metric tapered roller bearing.


Radial and axial bearing capacity: Tapered roller bearing can bear axial load at one direction and high radial load. Usually, two tapered roller bearings are used in pairs in symmetric arrangement. The bearing position is in O-type or X-type arrangement.


Angle misalignment compensation: Improved line of contact between tapered roller and inner and outer ring rollaway nest can optimized stress distribution at contact point. Prevent generating edge stress and bearing misalignment compensation is allowed. When the load ratio P/Cris no greater than 0.2, the relative angle of inclination of inner and outer ring of the bearing cannot exceed 4′. Please contact us if heavier load or bigger angle of inclination is required.


Paired bearing: Tapered roller bearing with suffix N11CA is X-type paired bearing, which can bear heavy bidirectional axial load and moment of force. Internal bearing clearance of paired bearing is set by the space ring between two outer rings and indicated in suffix, while the axial clearance of tapered roller is depended on the installation of another bearing. We can also provide paired bearing (N11CB) in O-type arrangement according to customer demand. During bearing order, the quantity of bearings must be indicated instead that of bearing pair.


Integral type tapered roller bearing: Tapered roll bearing JK0S is an install-and-play unit sealed at one side, which is mainly used for paired installation of O-type arrangement. They are inseparable bearing without grease injection again.


No need to set internal axial clearance: It is unnecessary to set internal axial clearance of bearing pair because when the inner ring is clamped by spindle nut or hubcap, very small stand-out (with the dimension of u) exists between inner ring and outer ring. To obtain right axial clearance after installation, tight fit shall be adopted by inner ring and outer ring. When integral tapered roller bearing is used in pairs in O-type arrangement, the outer ring will form a suitable circular groove for positioning of snap ring BR and the snap ring must be ordered alone.


Sealing: Standard designed and paired tapered roller bearings are not sealed. Integral tapered roller bearing JK0S is sealed in lip type at one side.


Lubrication: Standard designed and paired tapered roller bearing can be lubricated by oil or grease, Integral tapered roller bearingJK0Sis full of high quality lubricating grease.


Operating temperature: The operating temperature scope of open tapered roller bearing is from -30°C to +120°C. If the operating temperature exceeds +120°C continuously, please contact us. Limited by lubricating grease and materials of seal ring, the suitable operating temperature scope of lip type sealed bearing is from -30°C to +110°C.


Retainer: Punching steel plate retainer is adopted in open tapered roller bearing. The retainer of integral bearing JK0S is made from glass fiber reinforced polyamide 66. Suffix: Please refer to the table below for the suffix of existing design:

Calculation of axial force: Internal axial force generated by radial load must be bore by another bearing, and it must be taken into consideration during calculation of equivalent load of bearing. According to form of bearing arrangement (O-type or X-type), the axial force of bearing must be determined when the bearing is regulated to zero clearance without preload.


The preconditions are as follows:

█ The radial force is applied to the central contact point and it is positive value;

█ Bearing A bears radial load FrA and bearing B bears radial load FrB;
