Deep Groove Ball Bearing

Characteristic: Deep groove ball bearing is an inseparable bearing composed of solid inner and outer rings, retainer and steel ball with very wide purpose. The product is featured by simple structure, reliability and easy maintenance, and is designed to many types such as single row, double row, open and sealed. As standardized processing technology is adopted, a groove equipped with seal ring or dust cover is installed on the outer ring of open bearing. Due to low friction moment, deep groove ball bearing is suitable for high speed operation.

Radial and axial bearing capacity: Radial and axial bearing capacity: due to geometrical shape of rollaway nest and because the steel ball is adopted as rolling element, deep grove ball bearing can bear bidirectional axial load and radial load.

Angle misalignment compensation: As the misalignment compensation capability of single row deep grove ball bearing is limited, the bearing must be positioned accurately. Misalignment will cause rolling element to be in adverse rolling state and increase inner stress of bearing, thus shortening the operating life of bearing. To restrict additional stress of the bearing within low scope, for single row deep groove ball bearing, only small angle of inclination is allowed (which depends on magnitude of load). Due to its internal structure characteristics, double row deep groove ball bearing has no compensation capability. Angle of inclination is not allowed during operation of such kind of bearings.

Single row deep groove ball bearing: Single row deep groove ball bearing is the most common rolling bearing with several kinds of dimension and design as well as low price. Open bearing is suitable for high speed and super speed.

Sealing: Suffix 2Z of deep groove ball bearing represents clearance gap seal at both sides, which is suitable for high speed. Suffix 2RSR of bearing represents lip sealing at both sides, which is made of butyronitrilephenolic resin rubber NBR, suitable for medium speed. Upon negotiation, we can provide sealed bearings which are of non-contact BRS at both sides (with the suffix of 2BRS). The bearing possesses good friction performance, which is equal to Z-type sealed bearing. If the inner ring is static while the outer ring revolves, leaked grease will be less than the sealing with Z-type dust cover.

Lubrication: Open bearing can be lubricated by grease or oil. High quality grease is added to deep groove ball bearing with clearance gap or lip sealing on both sides for lifelong lubrication.

Anti-corrosion protection: For applications requiring high anti-corrosion, we can design and provide sealed and open anti-corrosion deep groove ball bearing. Product scope of anti-corrosion bearing is as follows.

Paired single row deep groove ball bearing: Upon negotiation, we can provide several kinds of combined deep groove ball bearing like 160, 60, 62, 63, 64 and 618 series as paired bearing. O-type arrangement (with suffix of DB) cannot only bear bidirectional axial force but also bear capsizing moment. X-type arrangement (with suffix of DF) can bear bidirectional axial force but not capsizing moment. For application requiring high one-way axial force, bearing arrangement matched (with the suffix of DT) in series can be used.

Double row deep groove ball bearing: Double row deep groove ball bearing equals to a pair of single row deep groove ball bearing in structure and function. They are suitable for high speed and super speed, which can be applied in occasion with insufficient bearing capacity of single row deep groove ball bearing. Under the condition of the same inner diameter and outer diameter, double row deep groove ball bearing is wider than single row deep groove ball bearing, meanwhile, the bearing capacity of double row deep groove ball bearing is stronger than that of single row deep groove bearing.

Sealing: Double row deep groove ball bearing is not provided with sealing design.

Lubrication: The bearing is not provided with sealing, but it is equipped with lubricating grease of high quality.

Operating temperature: The operating temperature of open deep groove ball bearing shall be no greater than 120+°C. When the operating temperature is higher than 120+°C, please contact us. When the outer diameter D of bearing is greater than 240mm, its dimensional stability temperature can reach +200°C. The operating temperature scope of lip deep groove ball bearing is from -30°C to +120°C. The highest temperature for retainer made from glass fiber reinforced nylon shall be no more than+120°C.

Retainer: Punching retainer is adopted by deep groove ball bearing without retainer suffix. The bearing suffix of retainer made of brass solid led by steel ball is M. Suffix Y represents that the bearing retainer is of double row deep groove ball bearing made of punched brass and its retainer is made from glass fiber reinforced nylon (with the suffix of TVH). Check chemical stability of nylon on synthetic grease and lubricating agent with extreme pressure additive. Under high temperature, aged lubricating oil and additive in the oil will reduce operating life of nylon retainer. Therefore, it must strictly follow the replacement cycle of lubricating oil.
